Meet and assist at Colombo International Airport by our company representative and proceed to Kandy via Elephant Orphanage.
The orphanage was originally founded in order to afford care and protection to the many orphaned Elephants found in the jungles of Sri Lanka. You will visit milk feeding & fruit feeding to elephant and visit bathing elephant on the river. Later you can enjoy with Elephant back riding. After that you will proceed to the Kandy
Kandy is the UNESCO World Heritage City in Sri Lanka. It's set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and biodiverse rainforest. The city's heart is scenic Kandy Lake, which is popular for strolling. Kandy is famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth shrine, celebrated with the grand EsalaPerahera annual procession.
After breakfast the group will proceed to Nuwara Eliya. It is a city in the tea country hills of central Sri Lanka. The naturally landscaped Hakgala Botanical Gardens displays roses and tree ferns, and shelters monkeys and blue magpies. Nearby Seetha Amman Temple, a colorful Hindu shrine is decorated with religious figures. Densely forested Galway's Land National Park is a sanctuary for endemic and migratory bird species, including bulbuls and flycatchers. . After that you will proceed to the Colombo.
After breakfast the group will proceed to Colombo. It is the business and commercial center of Sri Lanka. Colombo was only a small seaport, which came into prominence in the 16th Century with the arrival of the Portuguese in 1505 and the development of it as a major Harbor during the British period and became the capital in 1815 after Kandy was ceded by the British. The remains of the buildings during the period and the Portuguese, Dutch and British rule are found in every area of the city in Colombo.
After breakfast the group will proceed to departure flight.
